Mandy Carter faces a terrible dilemma next week in Ackley Bridge as she struggles to save the school from failure.
Mandy has stood by Sadiq even though he is now on the verge of bankruptcy. Sadiq begged Mandy to let him continue working with the school even though he now lacks the funds to keep it thriving.
Mandy is now faced with the choice of finding more money or making major redundancies and selling off assets.
Mandy is offered a lifeline in a new preview clip, when two officials from a trust offer to take over the school.
Its a tense meeting and Mandy firmly shuts them down, pointing out that Ackley Bridge began as an effort to bring two communities together and that she doesnt believe the trust would continue with that work.
Mandy rejects the offer and sends the pair packing. But will her pride cost her the school and her position as headteacher?

Or will Mandy begin to question her loyalties to Sadiq as the lifeline becomes more and more attractive?
Its last episode of Ackley Bridges dramatic second series and it sounds like the twists will keep coming.
