Rainie Cross finally came clean tonight in EastEnders when she confessed how she felt about her fake husband Max Branning.
Max and Rainie had agreed to a sham marriage so that Max could gain custody of baby Abi. But Rainie is now dreaming about a new life with Max and the baby.
Rainie had teased and flirted with Max and became overly interested in his love life. Its remarkable that Max hadnt realised that his wife had feelings for him.
But the truth finally came out tonight.
Max had been looking after an ill Rainie and assumed that she had a stomach bug.
He didnt know that shed put laxatives into his coffee, in an attempt to sabotage his date. But Max caught Rainie with the laxatives and demanded to know why she was taking them.
Max was worried that Rainie was taking drugs again.
Frustrated, Rainie told Max that the coffee had been meant for him. She couldnt believe that he didnt know why shed tried to stop him going out.

Max walked away and nursed his sorrows in the Queen Vic.
Meanwhile, Rainie packed her bags and left the house after stopping to have a chat to Jack, who understood that Rainie and Max had fought.
Max ran into Jessica in the Queen Vic as he busied himself with drink after drink.
Jessica gave Max some insight into Rainie and told him that he was lucky to have Rainie and that he needed to step up.
She demanded to be paid for her advice but Billy saw Max as he paid up and got the wrong idea.
Will Rainie return to Max? And will she hear about Billys suspicions if she does so?
