A distraught Rana Nazir is forced to lie to her furious mother so that she can see her father one last time.
Hassan, Ranas dad, collapsed and had a stroke at his birthday party.
Saira has barred Rana from the hospital and still hasnt forgiven her for openly pursuing a relationship with Kate.
Rana is worried that Hassan will die and is desperate to see him. Kate suggests that Rana pretend that they have split up to change Sairas mind.
Billy tries to help Rana by distracting Saira to give Rana the chance to see him.
But Saira is furious when she finds out.
Eventually Saira agrees to let Rana see Hassan but what price has Rana paid for Sairas permission?
Saira tells Hassan that Rana has seen the error of her ways. Hassan squeezes Ranas hand as Saira speaks and then devastates the family as he passes away.

Rana is wracked with guilt as she lied to her father on his deathbed.
