Today hosts Karl Stefanovic and Georgie Gardner will meet the heroes of the land, interviewing those doing it tough and presenting special reports, all the while encouraging viewers across Australia to dig deep and donate.

The daylong event will also be filled with fun and entertainment with celebrity guests popping by, including your Nine personalities such as Doctor Doctor star Rodger Corser, comedian Magda Szubanski, croc wrangler Matt Wright, and live performances from Shannon Noll, James Reyne, Adam Harvey, Wendy Matthews and Cameron Daddo.

The hosts and their guests will be encouraged to take part in some hilarious stunts and challenges, including mastering the bucking mechanical bull, navigating through a dicey inflatable obstacle course, powering through a high-speed, wood-chopping contest, and much more.

Spectators will also be encouraged to get involved with the opportunity to appear live on national TV.

The special broadcast and carnival atmosphere will continue until 4pm with fun for the whole family – free rides, games, and complimentary food and beverages including a free community sausage sizzle.

All donations are being administered by Rotary Australia who will direct all funding to relief organisations who can address the immediate needs of our farmers with the help of the National Farmers Federation.
