Mercedes romantic reunion with Russ Owen was thrown into jeopardy tonight in Hollyoaks, after DS Roxy arrested her for the murder of Carl Costello.

Mercedes spent her whole day panicking. After spending the night with Sylver, Mercedes was horrifed when Russ turned up at her door, begging for forgiveness.

Mercedes promptly pushed a naked Sylver out onto the balcony and pulled herself together as Russ pleaded with her.

Meanwhile, a naked Sylver had to rush past the gathered sunbathing guests, including TV presented Richard Arnold, who made a cameo in the episode.

Mercedes didnt want to embark on a marriage built on lies and officially called off the wedding.
