Hay is being delivered thanks to Fairfax Media's Big Dry drought appeal.
HAY is being delivered to drought-stricken farmers across NSW through The Big Dry Drought Appeal – a partnership between Fairfax Media, Macquarie Radio and charity Buy A Bale.
Six hay deliveries have already taken place in the western part of the state since the campaign Buy A Bale Western NSW began last month.
Hay is also starting to arrive within the Buy A Bale New England-North West area with loads already delivered in Narrabri and some heading to the Tamworth area this week.
The Buy A Bale Hunter campaign has delivered 5000 bales of hay to farmers in the region since February. This campaign alone has already given farmers more than $1 million worth of help.
The New England-North west campaign has raised $41,500, the western campaign $25,900 and the Buy A Bale Southern NSW has raised $15,250. To donate visit buyabale.com.au
