Johnny Connor isnt winning much support from Coronation Street fans as his grief over the death of his son Aidan is pushing him to behave with uncharacteristic malice – and Eva Price is set to be hit the hardest as he vows to fight dirty in order to take baby Susie from her.

Johnny has made his intentions clear that he wants custody of Aidans daughter and when he demanded a DNA test to prove Susies parentage, Adam Barlow had an idea and created a false document naming him as the father instead.

Eva was completely against this idea as after all of the trouble her baby secret with Toyah Battersby caused, she didnt want to muddy the waters by spinning another web of lies – this was not how she wanted to win.

However, when the document then found its way into Johnnys hands, he was disgusted by the plan to dupe him and he wasnt having it that it was never Evas intention to go down that route. As he ranted at her, she was left tearful and she blamed Adam, telling him that she is going to lose her daughter and its his fault.

Liz McDonald followed a furious Johnny and tried to calm him down, telling him that she thinks Eva was telling the truth but he dismissed her advice and said in no uncertain terms that if Eva was going to play dirty, so was he.

And play dirty he does – when he hears next week that Eva took Susie to the medical centre with a bumped head, he calls social services and Eva is horrified when a social worker turns up to speak to her.
