Cape Town – Harry Kane grabbed two goals including a stoppage time winner as England defeated Tunisia 2-1 in their 2018 Soccer World Cup Group G opener.

Kane gave England a dream start in the 11th minute when he finished from close range after following up a John Stones header from a corner.
England looked in control in the early stages but then Tunisia were awarded a penalty against the run of play in the 33rd minute which Sassi converted to draw Tunisia level.
The two sides went into the break with the scores tied at 1-1 despite Gareth Southgate's side dominating large parts of the first half.
The Three Lions struggled to maintain their stranglehold in the game in the second half with a resolute Tunisian defence holding firm.
Captain Kane was the hero for England as he popped up at the far post to head home at the far post from close range to give England a dramatic win.
