Horn v Crawford live: Australian readies to defend title in Vegas

The crowd is pouring in, and Mark Wahlberg is talking with Fox

"It's a big, big fight – it's one thing to be fighting in front of your home crowd but I think he's going to have a lot of support out here."

"To come back and get that victory {against Pacquiao} was unbelievable."

Here's some pre-fight reading for you…

It wouldn't be a Jeff Horn fight without an appearance from his arch-enemy in the media, Teddy Atlas. It's great fodder in fight week and the American analyst loves to play up his role.

"Do you believe in flying kangaroos?" Atlas shouted at ESPN radio host Trey Wingo during the week, waving his hands about as if he was trying to take flight. "Neither do I! No chance (he can win). No chance for Jeff Horn from Down Under.

Australian boxing icon Jeff Fenech believes Jeff Horn will have to elevate his game to uncharted levels if he is to hang with Terence Crawford in their WBO welterweight title fight in Las Vegas.

Fenech was on hand to watch the weight drama unfold at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but said that would be the least of Horn's problems after he eventually made the 147-pound limit.

Top Rank has denied any funny business after Jeff Horn said the scales had been 'dodgied' when he initially failed to make weight ahead of his world title blockbuster against Terence Crawford in Las Vegas.

There were tense scenes for the Australian WBO welterweight champion at the MGM Grand Garden Arena when he strode onto the scales at 148 pounds (67.13kg), which was over the 147-pound limit.

Horn had to remove his underpants and try again behind a modesty sheet but even that left him stranded on 147.5 pounds (66.9kg). Crawford had easily made weight at 146.5 pounds (66.45kg) ahead of his first fight in the heavier division.
