Jali returns to Absa Premiership with Sundowns
Cape Town – Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has bolstered his Absa Premiership-winning team with the signing of former KV Oostende midfielder Andile Jali.
The Bafana Bafana international was keen to return to the Premiership after a four-and-a-half-year spell in Belgium with the Kustboys.
Jali had been linked with Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates since leaving the Versluys Arena in April, but Sundowns have landed his prized signature.
The 28-year-old spoke of his relief at penning a long-term contract at Chloorkop until 2013, after the Brazilians confirmed the deal on their social media accounts on Friday.
"At last this deal is done‚ it's been a long process but I'm relieved and I can relax before the season starts!" he said on Downs' official Twitter account.
Jali started his career at Pretoria University and rose to prominence during his time at Pirates before being tempted to Europe by KVO in January 2014.
