Foo Fighters, Marilyn Manson, Architects and Enter Shikari land mammoth nominations as Kerrang! Awards make a comeback
NEWFLASH! Rock n Roll aint dead.
And proof of this is the fact that The Kerrang! Awards are returning this year, alongside the most moshing and headbanging nominations list youll see this side of 2019.
Leading the nominations as the annual ceremony makes a return after a years break are Foo Fighter, Biffy Clyro, and Enter Shikari who all have three nominations each.
Dave Grohl and his shaggy bunch of rocker have had an incredible year off the back of highly-acclaimed ninth studio album, Concrete And Gold.
The American stadium shakers have clocked up nominations for best album, best international live act, and best international band.

As youd expect, theres some fierce competition in that last category as they go head-to-head with the likes of Metallica, Linkin Park, and Green Day.
Holding the British end up at the top with the Foos are Brighton based metalcore pioneers – if you havent listened to their 2006 debut Nightmare then youre dead to us… for a short period of time.
Theyve been nominated for best song with single Doomsday (an absolute banger, we might add… no were not bias), best British act, and best British live act.
Hertford boys Enter Shikari are still riding high on the wave they created with last years The Spark (their fifth album).
Roy Reynolds and his agit-rock band are in the running for best album, best British live act, and best British band.
Other names to watch out for in the categories are Marilyn Manson, Guns N Roses, and Iron Maide.
Meanwhile, home-grown success stories and newcomers to the heavy music scene are recognised as well, with the likes of Creeper and Venom Prison gaining nominations.
