Today it was announced the priority ticket sales for BTS UK tour has been canned.
And its an understatement to say fans and the BTS Army are livid.
O2 announced on their Twitter page this afternoon the priority pre-sale has been cancelled, however it wasnt all that clear why as they offered no explanation behind the decision – other than it was happening.
The Twitter account had replied to an earlier message from a fan who was concerned some were getting around the system that was put in place to reward O2 customers by buying last-minute O2 products.
People are purchasing throwaway PAYG sims to get access to O2 priority tickets for BTS tomorrow, the fan said. Long term committed customers feel disheartened as O2 priority is a reward. Will there be precautions in place to deal with this?

The official account replied: Hi, the Priority sale for BTS tomorrow has been cancelled were afraid, tickets will be available through Priority on Friday.

According to the website, Priority has indeed been rescheduled for Friday 1 June.
Fans were very quick to point out that general public sales begin on Friday, meaning those who were hoping for a priority ticket would be forced to join the queue with the rest of the BTS fans.
One said: Friday is when general sale is live so how can we use priority on the same day? Is there just no priority then? Please release a statement as this is so unprofessional.
Why have they been cancelled this is an absolute joke on your part im sorry but if its a problem with people buying sim cards then why not put a limit on the time you have had to have an o2 account instead of ruining it for evreyone

However, the social media channels went further to attempt to clarify that Priority tickets would still be available from the original Priority site on Friday, seemingly separate from the general publics sales.
The message read: Tickets are available through the Priority website on Friday at 9am, tomorrows Priority sale is no longer taking place unfortunately.
O2 later released a statement on the matter that read: We know so many of you are excited about BTS and eager to buy tickets. To clarify there is no O2 presale on Wednesday 30th May. Well share more details as soon as we can.
Last month the seven piece – that is fast taking over the world – announced their LOVE YOURSELF world tour in support of their latest album, Love Yourself: Tear and that will include two dates in London in October.
