West Busselton property raided in drug sting

A West Busselton property was raided during a drug sting which stretched across a number of properties in the Wheatbelt, Great Southern and South West.

As a result of information received from the public, Northam detectives commenced an operation targeting the sale and supply of illicit drugs across the districts.

In May 2018, numerous search warrants were executed at properties in Quairading, Kellerberrin, York, Wagin, West Busselton, Brunswick and Seville Grove.

In total, a quantity of drugs including methylampetamine, cannabis and a cannabis plant were seized.

To date, a total of 11 people have been charged with 60 drug related offences and are due to appear in court at a later date.
