King Salman receives GCC secretary-general in Jeddah

JEDDAH: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, the secretary-general of the Gulf Cooperation Council, called on King Salman in Jeddah on Sunday and expressed warm greetings for the holy month of Ramadan.

During the meeting a number of issues related to the Gulf region came under discussion.

In a separate meeting, ambassadors of different countries called on King Salman on Sunday. The king met Ambassador of Djibouti Dya-Eddin Said Bamakhrama, Eritrean Ambassador Mohammed Omar Mahmoud, Omani Ambassador Ahmed bin Hilal Al-Busaidy, Argentinian Ambassador Jaime Sergio Cerda, Austrian Ambassador Gregor Kossler, Singaporean Ambassador Lawrence Anderson, Australian Ambassador Ralph King and Canadian Ambassador Dennis Horak.
