Mosimane satisfied with a point in CAF CL

Cape Town – Mamelodi Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane says his side started slowly in their 2-2 CAF Champions League Group C clash with Horoya, although they also switched off late on.

Ocansey Mandela opened the scoring on 51 minutes at Stade du 28 Septembre ahead of a 69th minute equaliser from Khama Billiat and 79th minute penalty by Leandro Sirino.

Aboubacar Gal Camara though ensured a share of the spoils when he netted a second for the home side in the 83rd minute.

The result left the Brazilians in third place in Group C on two points, behind Wydad Casablanca and Horoya, who both have four points, and ahead of AS Togo-Port, on zero.

After the match, Mosimane: "I thought it was a game of two halves. We woke up very late, we were asleep and we couldnt play our normal football in the first half.

"But in the second half we played the way we usually play, and we could find each other with our passing, and that is the way Sundowns play.

"They scored two goals, we scored two goals. They are a very good team, as Ive said, and you saw what happened [on the pitch]."

He added on KickOff: "They scored first and we equalised, and then we went ahead and they came back, so it was fair. But, I said we would try to win and we did try to win but they equalised.

"I also said [before the game] that if we dont win then we should at least not lose."
