Ken Livingstones quit the Labour party and everyones making the same joke

Ken Livingstone is resigning from the Labour party amid on-going claims of anti-Semitism against him.

The former London mayor has been suspended since 2016 in a row over allegations of anti-Semitism following comments he made about Hitler and Zionism.

He said he didnt accept he was guilty of anti-Semitism but said his case had become a “distraction” for the party and its ambitions.

Anyway, of enough of all that. Heres everyone making the same joke, and who can blame them?

"The presence of Ken Livingstone was starting to create a bunker mentality in the Labour Party"

"You know who else had a bunker …"

"Not now, Ken.

You know who else did something which was, in an admittedly convoluted way, analogous to what Ken Livingstone has just done?

not going to make the obvious Ken Livingstone Hitler joke because that kind of complacent flippancy and willful conspiracy to poison the discourse with irony is what first allowed fascism to take hold in the Weimar Republic

I remember very well when the Ken Livingstone saga began – my wife was out on a training day but I kept her updated pic.twitter.com/jpRZVKshfB
