The annual Nyngan Community Hub Careers Expo is back on June 28 and the doors are open to everyone in the community.

Organiser Katie White is hoping to see members of the community visit the Nyngan High School hall and learn more about occupations and services locally and regionally.

“Come down and speak to a range of employers about opportunities for volunteering, training, apprenticeship opportunities,” Miss White said.

“Grab some information for your next possible career or study move, its open for community members from 9am to 10am,” she said.

Miss White is also encouraging any business, groups or organisations interested in being part of the expo to contact her.

“If you are a business, organisation or service and would like to attend with stall please contact the Hub for more details,” she said.

Job providers, educational institutions including UNE, the mines, hospital, TAFE, Bogan Shire Council, Centacare and Australian Unity are just a few of those that will be attending.

“No matter were you are in your career chances are youre in need of a little motivation to get the next step and the Community Hub Careers Expo can help on your journey.”

This year Miss White said there will be workshops available for resume building and practice interview sessions to help people in the community boost those skills.
