JEDDAH: The Saudi-Canadian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shoura Council, led by Tariq Nqadi, met with Saudi students in Canada.

The meeting was held in the presence of Saudi Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi and Cultural Attaché Dr. Fawzi bin Abdul Ghani Bukhari, who said the visit reflects the councils keenness to check on the conditions of Saudi students abroad.

The delegation urged the students to behave, represent their country well, and benefit from the opportunity to acquire experiences and knowledge that will open doors for them in the future. The delegation listened to their concerns and problems.

Bukhari said his office is facilitating partnerships between Canadian and Saudi institutions to exchange expertise.

Al-Sudairi said the council delegation discussed with Canadian officials issues regarding Saudi students, visas and admission requirements in Canadian universities.
