$213.35 million transport projects launched in KSAs Qassim region

JEDDAH: Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal inaugurated transportation projects in the region in the presence of Transport Minister Nabeel Al-Amudi.
The projects, costing more than SR800 million ($213.35 million), cover Buraidah city and connecting roads, and include eight bridges.
Prince Faisal congratulated the people of Qassim on the projects, thanked Al-Amudi for his interest in them, and praised the Transport Ministry for its efforts.
Al-Amudi said: “This day is a continuation of the support that King Salmans government and his crown prince are providing to the regions in the Kingdom.”
The ministry has undertaken 41 projects in Qassim at a cost of more than SR4 billion, and “asks all governmental bodies in all regions of the Kingdom to cooperate” in order to complete them, Al-Amudi added.
He thanked Prince Faisal for his constant follow-up on the regions projects. They and an accompanying delegation toured the projects, and were updated on unfinished ones amounting to more than SR570 million.
