Nyngan is in for a treat when the Country Superstars Tribute show comes to town later this month.
The tribute show is a salute to the most talented artists to ever grace the country stage. Artists include: Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell and this year a special feature of Willie Nelson.
Show member and organiser Steve Taylor is encouraging the Nyngan community to come along and enjoy an evening out to “forget about life for a while”.
“I encourage singing, drinking and dancing. So make sure you get your fair share of all three, the more you drink the better we sound,” Mr Taylor said.
The Country Superstars Tribute show featuring show members Steve Taylor, Linda Street, Rory Peters and Brent Lillie bring together country legends into one spectacular presentation.
“This is a tribute in the true sense of the word. Putting the show together, we had an almost overwhelming amount of great material to choose from.”
“It has a wide concept and a very broad demographic so we find we get people 20-years old right through to retirees. So there's something for everybody in the show,” Mr Taylor said.
The show covers fifty years of the best of the best. So if you are a fan of country music then head down to the Nyngan RSL on Saturday May 26.
