Just recently, we wrote about Fashion Novas questionable lace-up jeans, which werent really our cup of tea.

But it seems the fashion brand doesnt really care what we think, as theyve also started selling some lace-up shorts – which, much like the jeans, feature nothing but a tiny bit of fabric and some string.

The Wild One Lace Up Shorts come in black and cost $32.99 (£24).

Theyre high waist and feature a zipper on the back.

While the crotch and back is covered with nylon, the sides of the spandex shorts are made up with laces which are meant to be tied up at the thigh.

Surprisingly, the shorts have so far received 5-star reviews, with one coming from a woman named Sarah, who wrote: Money well spent!! I love them so much!

But to us, honestly, they dont look very comfortable, and we can only imagine looking like a tied pork joint when sitting down.

Despite there being a zipper, it looks as though the shorts are meant to be held on to the legs with the laces – so if they come undone, youre going to be flashing your bum cheeks.

Hey, if thats the look you want to go for, you do you.

But its a definite no from us.

Heres to hoping Fashion Nova ditch the lace up look soon – and go back to stocking some comfier looking clothing – or, at least ones that wont come undone when you bend over.
