Brian McFadden reveals Westlife bandmates rejected major offer to reform
Westlifes Brian McFadden has hinted there could have been more to come from the band – if the others had been keen.
Former member Brian says a major offer was on the table for the group to reform as a five-piece for the first time since his exit from the band in 2004.
Over the following years rumours of a rift grew between Brian and the remaining foursome, who reportedly now arent keen to welcome him back into the fold.
Brian, 38, told the Irish Sun: I was offered a big multi-million pound deal. It was the other boys in Westlife who said no. They didnt want me back.
How does that make me feel? It makes me pretty upset because I didnt realise they still had those feelings towards me.

Its reported the X Factor maestro Simon Cowell had offered each band member €11.4 million to reform.
Cowell had also been willing to invest another €20 to €30 million on a new album and world tour – however one of the band is rumoured to have refused the deal.
Brian recently hit out at his former band mates in a string of now-deleted tweets which insisted ego kept them apart.
But I completely Understand that the group see them selfs as a four piece.but lets be honest. Ego is destroying a full Westlife reunion, he wrote.
Responding to the refusal to reform, Brian added in another now-deleted tweet: Thats fine but you have to respect the wishes of shane mark nick and Kian. If they only want to be a four piece I respect that.
There is one tweet from the recent drama still standing which is revealing enough in itself.
Pal o would love us to sing the old songs but theyve got a complex against me. Nothing I can do

And it is reported that his former band mates – who were with the band from their conception in 1998 until they disbanded in 2012 – would consider a reunion at another point, just without Brian.
The four remaining bandmates – Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan – went on for another 8 years following Brians exit in 2004.
Brian and Keith Duffy from Boyzone had previously set up the two-man nostalgia band Boyzlife, where they performed anthems from both the Boyzone and Westlife back catalogue.
