Stuart Fords AGC has boarded international sales rights to animation project Film Five (working title), which is currently in production at Laika. The big-budget project was announced yesterday with Annapurna Pictures on board for domestic. The pic features the voices of Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana and Zach Galifianakis. ParaNorman helmer Chris Butler is on board to direct. Arianne Sutner and Travis Knight are producing.
AGC International will introduce the film to buyers in Cannes via an invitation-only private screening of footage from the film, accompanied by an on-stage discussion between Ford and Laikas Knight.
Animation outfit Laika is known for Kubo And The Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman, and Coraline.
