Oh cool, so Kanye does still make music after all.

As the dust continues to settle on yesterdays almighty Twitter hurricane, Kanye has started off today (26 April) by reminding us that hes still an active musician – and still a pretty good rapper, too.

Away from the chat about dragon energy and MAGA hats, its been easy to forget in the past 24 hours that Ye initially piqued the interest of his fans earlier this week by teasing a whole raft of upcoming projects – including his next solo record.

I'm hand producing all the albums I tweeted about. Been chopping samples from the sunken place ?Pusha May 25th My album June 1st me and Cudi June 8th and Teyana June 22nd and oh yeah…

With that solo release penciled in for June 1, Kanye has now given his fans a taste of whats to come on the album with a new freestyle video.

Recorded in his home studio – which he jokingly referred to as the sunken place due to the plethora of Get Out memes that have been fired at him over the past year – the clip came about after the rapper invited TMZs Harvey Levin to his offices.

The tabloid was apparently invited to West HQ after Kanye took issue with one of their reports that claimed he was erratic or in the middle of a meltdown – with West instead keen to show that he was making good on his word that new music was on the way.

Ye does sound to be on top form in the freestyle video, although he does make one eyebrow-raising reference about parents who teach white dominance – a line which is seemingly at odds with his recent pro-Trump stance

West also confirmed to TMZ that hell be unleashing the album on all formats on June 1, with the publication claiming to have heard 10 new tracks.

Will Kanyes new album actually materialise in just over a months time, though? Watch this space…
