I would have enjoyed nothing more than ripping into Avicii well into and beyond our 60's. taken away from us far too young. I know he's at peace somewhere up there getting the last laugh that i spelled his name right this time. https://t.co/uAmdPsouSz

When somebody replied saying not so funny now, is it, Deadmau5 responded: Sure it is. even more so now that i can reflect on the many lols, banter and music and that the man provided all of us in more than one way. Thats a life worth living.

Avicii and Deadmau5 – two the biggest and most recognisable DJs on the electronic music circuit – often got involved in spats on social media, with Deadmau5 accusing the Swedish musician of playing CDs during sets.

In 2015, their feud reached fever pitch, with Avicii writing on Instagram: Hey Mau5! I get your frustration, I struggle daily in an attempt to push the envelope musically and strive with my team to bring more innovative and creative elements to everything Im doing, both in the studio and for live stuff…
