Sting and Shaggy have ruled out working together again following the release of their new album.

The unlikely duo – who have become the bromance of 2018 – are due to perform at the Queens 92nd birthday tomorrow.

However, following the albums release, both have agreed that they are probably never going to work together again.

The pair have formed an unlikely bromance over the past few months

Speaking on Loose Women today, the pair were quick to shut down the thought of working together again in the near future.

Jamaican-born singer Shaggy said: Its not that I didnt enjoy it – its just that the element of surprise has gone, and thats what really grabbed everybody.

The eccentric It Wasnt Me singer then left the panel and Sting stunned with a bizarre (but weirdly accurate) analogy about the pair having a child together.

He told them: Its like carrying a child, and finally the child is out – and weve been looking at the ultrasound the whole time and saying “its pretty good”.

But now its out were like “wow – now its time for diaper changes!”

The pair released their album 44/876 today – and it was named after the area codes of England and Shaggys home of Kingston, Jamaica.

Previously, the pair said the album came about by accident after they worked together in New York.

Their united front has baffled music fans everywhere, in quite possibly the most odd collaboration since that time Gareth Gates released a single with the Kumars at No. 42.

More: Sting

Speaking about their passion project on Lorraine, the pair praised each others work ethic and what they learned from each other.

Ill never make music the same way because Ive learnt so much from this one, hes quite meticulous, said Shaggy about Sting, while Sting joked that he had learnt patience from working with Shaggy.

Hes spontaneous, he can write songs in public whereas I like things to be more private, Sting added.
