Ariana Grande pays tribute to Manchester with worker bee in new video as she drops comeback track

Ariana Grande is back, people, with a belter of a tune – and is paying tribute to the people of Manchester at the same time.

The 24-year-old teased her big return to music this week by tweeting the name of her comeback single No Tears Left To Cry and its release date – 4/20.

And fans will not be disappointed with the track, which some are already calling the song of the summer.

The upbeat track features uplifting lyrics which seem to allude to the bombing of her concert last May, which killed 22 people.

She sings: Were way too fly to partake in all this hate. Were out here vibing.

And in the chorus, Ariana sings: Aint got no tears left to cry, so Im loving, Im living, Im picking it up.

The song was accompanied by a mind-bending video which saw Ari walking on walls and ceilings and dancing around a futuristic landscape.

And, in a sweet nod to the people of Manchester, a worker bee – the symbol of the city – flies across the screen.

According to The Blast, at a listening party for Arianas team, several people openly wept at how she alludes to the bombing and how incredible the song is.

However, one thing may weird out Ariana fans – the fact that her trademark ponytail has been lowered:

im waking up to arianas lowered ponytail and new single and im in love. she looks so good ? anyways, good afternoon, i hope everyone is having a good day so far.

This will be Arianas first commercial single since the Manchester bombing (she recorded Beauty And The Beast for the live-action films soundtrack and Somewhere Over The Rainbow for charity).

On 22 May 2017, a bomb went off in the foyer of the Manchester Arena where Ariana had been performing, killing 22 people.

On 4 June, Ariana fronted the One Love Manchester benefit gig, gathering friends including Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan and Liam Gallagher to raise millions for the victims of the tragedy and their families.
