Stomco is back!

The group from Sydney will be in town during the first week of the school holidays, from Monday, April 16 through to Friday, April 20.

Coordinator Robyn Evans said the group have been visiting Nyngan for over 13 years, and has seen attendance grow from 20 children to up to 150 turning up each morning.

“Every member of the team that has come has found it to be a wonderful experience as our Kellyville Seventh Day Adventist Church community connects with the Nyngan community.”

“Stormco stands for “Service to Others Really Matters” and we want to serve the kids of Nyngan.”

Mrs Evans said the program aims to push early adults out of their comfort zone to perform as clowns, create craft, tell stories, act, communicate and connect with other teens and children.

“We have become friends and love your town,” Mrs Evans said.

“Some of the Nyngan early attendees to Stormco still come and assist us with registration and with craft for the next generation of Nyngan kids.”

This year kids can expect craft, face painting, clowns, games, stories, acting and a whole lot of fun.

Stormco will be at OReilly park from 9am to 11am, Teens can also expect a lot of fun and challenges at the grandstand on the oval between 2pm and 4pm.

“We are so looking forward to coming back to Nyngan,” said Mrs Evans.
