Jonghyun may have passed away in December, however his SHINee bandmates still hold him in their thoughts, as they posted a tribute to the late singer on what would have been his 28th (29th in Korea) birthday.
The K-Pop band took to Instagram on Sunday 8 April to remember their friend on his day, as they posted a sweet image of the singer.
Alongside the photo – that saw Jonghyun sitting onstage in front of that appeared to be thousands of fans – they said: Happy birthday Jonghuyn. We hope youve found your peace.
Fans also paid their respects as they flocked to social media to remember their idol.

In February the band returned to the stage as a four-piece, as they vowed to continue following Jonghyuns death – all the while with their former bandmate in their thoughts.

As they began their Japanese tour, they gave a nod to Jonghyun, with Onew telling the crowd on the first night: Everyone, its been a while [since we last met]. Im very nervous to be seeing you after so long. Well do our best till the end, so please watch over us.
Key added: The members all worked hard in the short amount of time we had for this show. We may be lacking in some aspects, but we will work hard till the end.
Taemin then shared at the close of the show: The memories of my time with Jonghyun are precious to me. Hes like family to me, so I will never forget him and I will always keep him in my heart. From now on, I will try to be a stronger Taemin, and we will try to be a stronger SHINee.

Jonghyun died on 18 December 2017 when he took his life in a hotel room in Seoul. It later surfaced he had been suffering from depression.
Tens of thousands of fans attended his funeral to pay their respects.
