BIGBANG’s Seungri is ‘finally living’ now that his bandmates are in the military
BIGBANG’s Taeyang and G-Dragon have enlisted in the army, joining T.O.P who is working as a public service worker for his mandatory military service.
Seungri, the youngest member of the band, and Daesung are now waiting until they enlist as the band goes on hiatus.
But while we thought Seungri would be feeling at loss without his friends, it’s quite the opposite.
The 27-year-old has admitted he is ‘finally living’ now that his BIGBANG bandmates are in the military.
Speaking on MBC’s Radio Star, Seungri – real name Lee Seung-hyun – said: ‘I don’t want to say this, but now that my members are in the military, I feel like I’m finally living.
‘All the attention is on me. All the employees of my agency only think of me. When I wake up in the morning, there are 100 messages!’

And when asked whether he felt lonely, he quipped: ‘Why would I feel lonely when they’re going to come back?’
However, Seungri is taking on a big responsibility while his bandmates complete their mandatory military service – a responsibility he is well aware of.
The Strong Baby singer said: ‘As someone who is responsible as the face of BIGBANG right now because all of my members are in the military, I plan to be highly active so that their empty spaces will not be felt.’
Seungri appeared on Radio Star with members of Wanna One, and gave the idols some advice on the industry, having began as a trainee aged just 12 and debuted with BIGBANG aged 16.

He said: ‘In the beginning, everything is fascinating, but that doesn’t even last three years. On your third year as an idol, you start to want to do things by yourself.’
Taeyang and G-Dragon began their service this month, while T.O.P is expected to be discharged in June 2019.
He was reassigned to the public service from his post as a conscripted police officer after being charged with marijuana possession.
