Anjan Misra is accused of inserting the air hose into the 40-year-old’s anus before switching it on.
Ravinder reportedly stumbled before collapsing, with the powerful air hose normally used for cutting through blocks of wood.
Another worker, Ram Kishan, told reporters in India: ‘We alerted the manager and took Ravinder to the local dispensary and then to a government hospital, where he died during treatment later in the day.’
He died of internal haemorrhaging and organ damage.
