Jason Aldean is giving his fans a treat this Friday as he has just announced that he’ll be putting on a free show at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

The surprise concert (well, not so much of a surprise anymore) will be part of the 2018 Bassmaster Classic and will take place after the fish tournament’s first weigh-ins.

Doors will open at 3.15 pm and seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Aldean told Fox: ‘I’ve always been into pretty much anything outdoors. I grew-up fishing with my Dad and Grandad, so it’ll be cool to get out there with Field & Stream and be a part of this year’s Bassmaster Classic.’

The news comes after the Country Music Awards entertainer of the year announced that he will be joined by Hootie and the Blowfish in July, for a one night only reunion.

Frontman Darius Rucker has thrived doing his own thing, but now the band are rekindling for a one off event.

The performance will be part of Aldean’s High Neon Tour, and the 41-year-old believes it will be a career highlight.

According to Billboard, Aldean said at a press conference: ‘Out of all the shows we’ve played, I know this show is going to be a career defining moment. We haven’t had a chance to play Atlanta in a couple years in anticipation of this show and I know this night is going to mean a lot to my family and me.’

He added: ‘I’ve followed the Braves my whole life….was even at the ’95 game when they clinched the World Series…so this is a huge full circle moment for me.’
