It’s the inaugural Global Awards this week – and there’s a trio of music-loving hosts at the helm.

It has been announced that Roman Kemp, Myleene Klass and Rochelle Humes will be hosting the Global Awards, which are set to take place at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on 1 March.

The Global Awards are bringing together all of the stations under the Global umbrella – Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC – for the awards show, so the hosting choices shouldn’t be too much of a surprise.

Myleene is a host on Smooth, Rochelle presents on Heart, and of course Roman Kemp is the voice of Capital Breakfast.

For those of us already missing the glitz and glamour of the Brits, there’s plenty of starry performances lined up for those lucky enough to have bagged tickets.

Rita Ora and Liam Payne are due to perform together, as well as am Smith, Kasabian, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix.

A rather eclectic line-up, if we do say so ourselves.

Those in the running for awards include Little Mix, Dua Lipa, Niall Horan and Camila Cabello.

The awards will be streaming live on the Global Awards site, with Global radio stations broadcasting live coverage from 7.30pm.
