Ever since he lost Neeta Kaur, the love of his life, in the school explosion in Hollyoaks, Hunter McQueen has been struggling to cope and to move on. And while he got some closure when he learned the truth about Mac Nightingale being responsible for her death, the pain is still raw.
In death, Neeta managed to save Yasmine Maalik’s life as her heart was donated to the teenager in an operation, giving her a new lease of life. But as Hunter misses Neeta, he begins to wonder if she is living on through Yasmine.
When Hunter suffers a panic attack while thinking about everything he lost when Neeta died, Yasmine reaches out to him and they have a heart to heart.
However, when Yasmine talks about details that Hunter believes only Neeta could know about their relationship, he is stunned – and believes that Neeta is speaking to him via Yasmine.
Convinced that Yasmine knows about him and Neeta because she is carrying Neeta’s heart, will Hunter share his thoughts – and will this make him grow attracted to Yasmine and want to be with her, seeing it as a second chance to have a relationship with Neeta?
