Musician Pete Doherty had to be guided to his hotel following a gig in Sydney this weekend.

The musician’s appearance followed his performance at Sydney City Limits festival, after which he was reportedly seen being carried into the Sydney QY Hotel having apparently lost a shoe and his t-shirt with his pink boxers on show.

A friend had his hand on the 38-year-old shoulder showing the Libertines frontman the way.

Good job he’s in Aus, he wouldn’t be looking so chirpy walking through the UK without his shirt on right now.

On 28 February he is set to play in Melbourne and on 1 March will head to Brisbane. The group have also just announced a surprise intimate gig in a Melbourne pub on Tuesday night, for which tickets will only be available on the door.

The band has just announced plans to open their own hotel in Margate, which the will allegedly call The Albion Rooms.

It will be a five-story Victorian building which has a view over the bandstand. Although it’s proven costly, as the band have turned to fans to ask for funding to support the project.

They will also release their new album this summer.
