Prentis Robinson was recording himself walking down a rural road near Wingate, N.C., Monday, with a selfie stick when a man approached him and fired four shots.

In the seconds leading up to his death, Prentis filmed himself talking about his desire to move from Charlotte to Atlanta, when suddenly a figure in a blue jacket approaches.
Prentis appears agitated by the sight of his gun, and says ‘You on Live’ repeatedly in a calm voice, before the shots ring out in quick succession.
Police confirmed after that Prentis had been killed, with the killer remaining on the run and nearby Wingate University locked down in the wake of the slaying.
Union County Sheriff spokesman Tony Underwood said after: ‘We’re pursuing leads and trying to figure out what this is all about.’
Prentis, who regularly filmed his day-to-day activities on Facebook Live, was mourned by friends on the social media site.
Walter Rorie wrote: ‘I’m not only pissed but I’m hurt.
‘That was a cowardly move to kill this man on his birthday!’
