Ella Henderson has been dropped by Syco over delays on her second album.

The singer is said to be gearing up for a comeback this year, but it looks like she’ll do so without her label backing her as Syco has decided to opt for a ‘change in direction’ and to cut her loose.

The 22-year-old shot to fame on the X Factor six years ago during the same run as James Arthur, but with long delays on her album the label has decided to axe the starlet.

Ella released her debut album four years ago and it shot to number one, but since then work on her second album has been ‘stop-start’ which allegedly led to the label’s decision.
