Finn and Poe fans rejoice as Star Wars’ Oscar Isaacs has endorsed the two characters getting together.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi did not fulfill the wishes of many fans who believe Stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) and Resistance fighter Poe (Isaac) will get together in the end.

The affection is so great for the would-be couple that fans have dubbed them ‘StormPilot’.

According to Buzzfeed, a 16-year-old New York teenager named Madeline realised Oscar would be appearing on chat show Live With Kelly and Ryan which tapes just 40 minutes from where she lives.

Despite not having a ticket for the show, she didn’t want to miss the opportunity to see Isaac and waited outside the studio for him with a sign that read: ‘FinnPoe is endgame’.

She told the publication: ‘There were two others outside waiting who said they saw him go in but security was being really strict and so I was a bit discouraged.

‘But luckily once he knew fans were waiting he came outside with no security and couldn’t have been nicer.’

The teen got Isaac to autograph her FinnPoe sign and he wrote that it was, ‘fully endorsed’.

Star Wars fans online were thrilled to see the actor supporting the fictional relationship of their dreams.

One user wrote: ‘I’m still thinking about he added “Fully endorsed” like wow he really is that man and I appreciate it.’

Another praised Madeline and said she was, ‘doing the Lord’s work’.

The actors spoke about their characters seemingly budding romance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show before, although they were careful not to give too much away.

Isaac said: ‘I think it’s a very subtle romance that’s happening. You have to watch it a few times to see the little hints.

‘At least I was playing romance. I won’t say which character.’

Whether or not fans are going to see love blossom between these two in the next installment remains to be seen – but at least we know the actors are fully behind it.
