Vincent Hubbard faces losing everything in upcoming EastEnders scenes as his money troubles intensify and he plans to abandon Kim and Pearl and depart Walford for good. But can anyone stop him – and can he find a way to save his skin?
Aidan Maguire is putting pressure on Vincent to find a buyer for the Albert in order for him to meet the terms of their deal and this leaves Vincent distracted on the day of Pearl’s birthday.
Both Vincent and Kim want to give their daughter the perfect day but Vincent is thrown when he learns that the sale he was banking on has fallen through. He tries to find Kim’s ring so that he can sell it and accuses cleaner Karen Taylor of lifting it and things get even worse when Aidan gives him one last day to get the money.
As Vincent focuses on trying to sell the Albert, Kim discovers that the last payment on the mortgage has been missed and Vincent does his best to reassure her by lying that he has everything in hand.
Vincent is in a panic and when he and Donna Yates discuss Vincent’s dad, Vincent leaves a letter for Kim and packs his bags to flee the Square. But just as he is departing, he gets a call from the estate agent saying that a buyer has been found and they can pay within the day.
Vincent’s hope is restored and he puts preparations in place – is this the miracle that he has been waiting for or is he heading for a fall?
And will Kim come across the note, meaning that Vincent could lose his family as well as his business and wealth? It’s not looking positive…
