It’s another big week of soap action and, as ever, we have mightily struggled to narrow it down to 10 key moments that you shouldn’t miss. In the mix this week, we have an emotional breakdown over a devastating funeral, a shocking allegation, a make or break date, a flash forward, a couple of potential reunions, a collapse and an exit.
Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks are notching up the romance for Valentine’s Day as fan favourite couples look set to get it back together – but don’t expect a week of bliss and harmony as devastating events unfold elsewhere in soapland.
Here is what we have picked out:
Max says goodbye to Abi – EastEnders
It’s the day of Abi’s funeral and Max knows he isn’t welcome – with daughter Lauren having even lied about it already taking place to try and stop him attending. But as the traumatic and emotional day dawns, can Max stay away? And if he does show up, will the day be ruined?
One to watch: Friday 16th February at 8pm on BBC One.
Robert and Aaron get close again – Emmerdale
After Aaron helps out Robert with Seb, Alex is left huffed so he decides to make it up to him by cooking a meal – not really his forte! Robert steps in when Aaron’s efforts go downhill but when Alex has to work late, the former couple end up sharing the meal. And before long, one of them is leaning in for a kiss…

It’s make or break for Bethany and Craig – Coronation Street
After Craig’s actions get Bethany sacked from Tassels, she is furious with him and it looks like the end of the road for them. She agrees to go on a date with him and it seems like it is last chance saloon. But when his OCD prevents him from leaving the house, will he miss his chance?

Sandy says goodbye – Emmerdale
After getting to know Betty’s friend Maisie and rediscovering his spark for life, Sandy has a decision to make now that she has offered him a ticket to Australia in order to join her for a new life. As Sandy is torn, Laurel intervenes to ensure that Sandy doesn’t miss the chance of a lifetime.

Hollyoaks flashes forward time
Valentine’s Day is going to be an interesting one in Hollyoaks as fraudulent fortune teller Myra actually manages to trigger some future insights, against all odds! As hints are revealed concerning what lies ahead for three families, who will be lucky in love – and who is heading for heartbreak?
One to watch: Tuesday 13th February at 7pm on E4.
Billy collapses and Summer is in danger – Coronation Street
With Adam no longer supplying Billy with any drugs, Billy is getting desperate and his actions lead to him collapsing, much to the terror of Eileen and Eva. When Summer gets wind of it, she knows she has to get home quickly – and accepts a lift from a stranger…
One to watch: Wednesday 14th February at 7:30pm on ITV.
Halfway decides to leave – EastEnders
Feeling like he has overstayed his welcome at the Vic and assuming that he has no chance with Whitney, Halfway decides to head off for pastures new but when Whitney catches him with his hand in the till, a misunderstanding ensures. However, Whitney soon realises how she feels but is it too late?
One to watch: Thursday 15th February at 7:30pm on BBC One.
Graham accuses Debbie and Cain – Emmerdale
Debbie and Cain are on edge following her admission that she ordered the attack on Joe that led to Ross being injured with acid and Graham confronts them with his suspicions – he knows that they were behind it all. As they deny it, can Graham’s accusation be quelled?

Cleo decides she wants Joel back – Hollyoaks
Joel is horrified to learn that Cleo is heading to speak to Pete, who is out on day release. As he catches up with her, he stops her doing something stupid and she responds by trying to kiss him. She then decides she is going to do all she can to win him back from Sienna.

Michelle comes face to face with her son – Coronation Street
When Michelle arrives at the medical centre with an injured hand, she is shocked when the trainee GP who treats her is her biological son, Alex. Michelle tries to get to the bottom of why they lost touch but Alex is cold. Can she get through to him?
