Hawks to host first Pink Stumps Day for McGrath Foundation

The Hawks are calling on all players past and present to celebrate their first Pink Stumps Day and Past Players Day.

The Margaret River Hawks Cricket Club is calling all families, supporters and past players to the Nest on Saturday, February 17 for our annual Past Players Day.

As is an annual tradition, the Hawks will be celebrating and thanking the efforts of the past players and the history of the Hawks while three games are being played.

The A grade team will be hosting arch rivals Cowaramup in what could be a crucial match to determine their finals chances.

The B grade will battle it out against YOBS and again will be needing a win to keep inside the top 4 while the C grade team will battle southern rivals Augusta in what will be a cracking game of cricket.

The Hawks are also fundraising for the McGrath Foundation in their inaugural Pink Stumps Day.

The McGrath Foundation raise money for Breast Care Nurses across Australia and is a very worthy, cricket related cause.

All families, parents and partners of our current players are also encouraged to attend as we also say thank you for everything you do to keep our players on the park week in week out!

For catering purposes, please call James Gannaway on 0408 899 994 ASAP or message the club via www,facebook.com/margaretriverhawkscricketclub

The Hawks Cricket Club is also looking for more players and if you are new to town and wish to be a part of the Nest please get in contact.

Training is on Thursday from 4.30pm for all abilities and all gear can be supplied.
