Coronation Street spoilers: Bethany Platt and Craig Tinker split as she loses lapdancing job?
Bethany Platt’s relationship with Craig Tinker could be set to hit the rocks in Coronation Street when she is sacked from Tassels, the lapdancing club, and blames her boyfriend.
Craig has made no secret of his disapproval over Bethany’s job choice but felt forced into supporting her as he would lose her otherwise. But when Jess is called to a disturbance at the club, she is dismayed to find that Craig is the cause of it and explains that she has been left with no choice but to report Bethany for underage lapdancing.
This leads to Bethany losing her job and she is crushed, believing it to be Craig who blew the whistle on her and when he visits her with roses on Valentine’s Day, she makes it clear that she wants nothing more to do with him.
However, Sarah can see that Bethany is hurting and urges her to make amends with Craig so she arranges a date with her in the bistro.
However, having had a troubling conversation with his boss after what happened at Tassels, Craig’s OCD takes hold and he finds himself unable to leave the house as Bethany waits for him.
As he performs rituals of checking all of the switches around the house, Liam discovers his behaviour while Bethany is convinced that he stood her up.
Craig calls to apologise but will he come clean about why he missed their date? Or could this be the end of the line for them?
