Tiemoue Bakayoko’s awful touch literally gets him sent off against Watford
Tiemoue Bakayoko’s miserable debut campaign at Chelsea went from bad to worse on Monday night when the Frenchman was sent off after just 29 minutes against Watford.
The France international has struggled to settle at Stamford Bridge since his £40m move from Monaco and Nemanja Matic‘s form at Manchester United has added an unwanted spotlight on Bakayoko’s performances.
Bakayoko was booked in the 25th minute for practically rugby tackling Etienne Capoue to the ground and he was given his marching orders four minutes later for a mindless challenge on Richarlison.
The Frenchman was in possession just inside his own half but his awful first touch gave him a rush of blood to the head and he senselessly brought down the Brazilian, leaving Mike Dean with no option but to send him off.

Chelsea fans were far from impressed with the midfielder and made him fully aware of their displeasure when he was leaving the field.
A section of the travelling support was heard singing: ‘You’re f*****g s**t’ as Bakayoko made his way down the tunnel.
