Manchester United in advanced talks to sign Justin Kluivert this summer
Manchester United are already planning their summer transfer business and are in advanced talks with Ajax to sign exciting teenager Justin Kluivert, according to reports.
The 18-year-old, son of Dutch legend Patrick, has enjoyed an excellent campaign for the Dutch giants so far, scoring five times in his 16 Eredivisie appearances – including a sublime hat-trick.
He has already been linked with a host of European giants, but, according to The Mirror, it is United who are winning the race for his signature.
The Red Devils have prepared a package with £10 million plus various bonuses and add-ons – though the Dutch side are likely to demand more – while Kluivert would be keen on the move.
The winger is excited by the prospect of moving to the Premier League, while Mourinho has taken special interest in Kluivert since working with his father at Barcelona.

With so many clubs interested in Kluivert, and with the transfer window closing earlier this year, United hope to have the deal tied up by the end of the season.
Interestingly, Mourinho sought out Kluivert to console him after United beat Ajax 2-0 in Stockholm in the Europe League final last May.
The young winger recently revealed what Mourinho said, telling Algemeen Dagblad: ‘He just liked to see me. Mourinho knows me from the time that I was a little boy and my father played at Barcelona when Mourinho worked there as an assistant trainer.’
Despite signing Alexis Sanchez, Mourinho remains in the hunt for players to bolster his attack, and Kluivert could be the perfect understudy to the Chilean before eventually replacing him.
