Crossing Pat Phelan is a fatal move in Coronation Street – something which newly returned Steph Britton could soon discover to her peril. Knowing that Phelan blackmailed her ex Andy Carver into arson, Steph knows what Phelan is capable of and she wants some answers about what happened to her late brother Luke.
Fans know that Phelan murdered both Andy and Luke and are now understandably worried about Steph pushing her luck with the killer. After the funeral, which Phelan shamelessly turned up to, Steph let rip at him about the type of man he is.
In coming scenes, she will arrange to meet up with Gary Windass, who is determined to bring Phelan down for everything that he has done and hopes that Steph can be a valuable ally.
However, Phelan knows something is afoot and manages to get to Steph first. As he tells her to let him know if Andy gets in touch as they have unfinished business, he is trying to put her off the scent.
But if she doesn’t buy this and seems set to continue to do some digging, will Phelan be forced to silence her in another way?
Is her planned meeting with Gary set to be the death of Steph as Phelan resorts to desperate measures to keep his sinister secrets?
