Getting married looks fun but it must be hell to go around in white stilettos all day.

You’ve got to navigate your way up the aisle without sounding like a lame horse, clip-clopping in a near-silent church/registry office/somewhere quirky.

You’ve also got to make sure your heels don’t catch on your train or dress. And if you do survive the actual ceremony, you’ve then got to stay wearing them for the rest of the day.

Imagine the pain you’d be in by the time you’re forced to do your first dance in front of everyone. Suddenly MJ’s Blood On The Dance Floor takes on a whole new level of meaning.

But…there is another option.

Kate Spade has just teamed up with Keds to bring out a bridal collection of pumps.

Together, they’ve launched 30 styles to make your special day comfy and suitably on-colour-trend.

There’s a whole host of different decors to choose from, including pearls, metallic glitter and fabric flowers, with the shoes promising to be the ‘perfect union of ease and glamour for everything from the bridal shower to bridesmaids’ gifts to walking down the aisle to happily ever after’.

‘There’s no better way to walk down the aisle than in these elegant sneakers: height without the heel, dance-all-night comfort, plus versatile style so you can keep wearing them well after the big day. A must for brides-to-be,’ Keds says.

And of course, if you make it to the wedding venue and you suddenly decide that the other person isn’t for you after all, they’re pretty handy for a quick getaway.
