EastEnders spoilers: Aidan Maguire is gunning for Mick and the Carters after they save the Vic
Everything is currently jubilant for the Carters in EastEnders given that they have managed to save the Queen Vic in the nick of time. Their celebrations led to free drinks, sing-songs, a conga through the Square and a smile from Shirley so it’s fair to say that they are on a high.
But menacing Aidan Maguire could be about to bring them back down to earth with a bump as he becomes suspicious over how they have suddenly managed to afford the pub. Naturally, he is adamant that Mick must have stolen the missing money but viewers know that he just happened to have a stroke of luck when he found Halfway’s stolen ring which was worth a lot of cash.
So yes, Halfway did nab the jewellery during the chaos of the heist but that money remains unaccounted for. But will Aidan truly believe this? As he closes in on a nervous Johnny, he demands answers.
But how much will Johnny tell Aidan and could he end up landing his family in deep trouble as the sinister criminal plots his revenge?
Despite getting everything he wants and looking to the future, Mick may soon be finding himself in serious danger.
Will he be a match for Aidan? And, as Mick seems set to be the fall guy, who actually has the cash and will they get away with it?
