Cardi B branded ‘selfish’ after saying she’s looking forward to winning at Grammys 2018
Cardi B is facing some criticism after being incredibly confident with her Grammy chances, saying she’s looking forward to winning an award.
The 25-year-old rapper is nominated for two awards for her single Bodak Yellow, and she recently opened up about her chances at the Warner Music Group Pre-Grammy Party on January 25.
Asked what or who she was most excited about by Entertainment Tonight, Cardi said: ‘What I am most excited to see on the Grammys Sunday is just, like, me hopefully winning an award.
‘Like, what else?
‘That’s all I think about, to be honest,’ she added. ‘I don’t think about anybody else but me… or the Migos winning.’

Some fans however on Instagram aren’t quite dealing with her unabashed confidence, describing her as ‘selfish’.
One user wrote: ‘Sweet, but she’s selfish af.’
Another added: ‘There’s beauty in humility.’
Cardi is nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance, with any win sure to kickstart a promising 2018 for the breakout star.
Cardi is also hitting the stage alongside Bruno Mars, set to perform his superb single Finesse.
