Roma have turned down a bid for Alisson Becker from Liverpool, reports in Italy claim.

Liverpool are on the hunt for a new No.1 after Jurgen Klopp decided neither Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius have what it takes to be the No.1 stopper.

Both goalkeepers have consistently made mistakes in games, and although Karius was recently promoted to No.1, Klopp is plotting the addition of a new goalkeeper.

‘Together with my teammates, we have done a great job to not allow the loss of [Wojciech] Szczesny to be felt by the fans.

‘I have worked very hard and want to continue along that track.’
