Pep Guardiola has ordered Manchester City to make a £150million move for Eden Hazard in the summer, reports say.

The City boss has identified Hazard as his No.1 target and believes the Belgian playmaker can take his side to the next level.

City are racing towards a Premier League title this season, but Guardiola is planning to take his side’s domination to Europe with a stunning transfer.

Guardiola was disappointed to see the club pull out of the deal to sign Alexis Sanchez due to financial reasons, but expects City’s stance to change in the summer.

The Mirror claim City are plotting a £150m bid for Hazard, who is also wanted by Real Madrid.

Hazard is thought to be open to a switch to Spain, but it is unclear if the 27-year-old would be interested in a move to London.

The Belgium international has so far refused to sign a contract extension, although did state recently that he would put pen to paper on a new deal.

City are unlikely to be put off by Hazard signing a new contract at Chelsea and will push forward with their pursuit regardless.

The Sky Blues are ready to shatter their club record fee to beat Real to Hazard’s signature.

Chelsea will fight any move by a direct rival to sign their star player and are ready to do whatever it takes to keep Hazard at the club.

It could be a difficult summer ahead for Chelsea with reports Antonio Conte’s relationship with the board is at an all-time low.

Conte feels powerless in the transfer market and has continually complained of a thin squad this season.
